Associate Pastor
The Role:
We are seeking an Associate Pastor to help bring our vision and mission to life through Christ-centred leadership and teamwork. Serving under the leadership of the Lead Pastor and alongside the Elders, the Associate Pastor will play a key role in preaching, teaching, shepherding, discipling, and equipping our church family for ministry, in line with BBC’s theological convictions. We are looking for someone who not only shares our theology, ministry philosophy, and culture, but who also has a heart to serve, encourage, and grow alongside our community.
This role will involve:
· Regular preaching and teaching
· Pastoral care and visitation
· Training and equipping others for ministry
· One-to-one discipleship

Essential criteria for this role:
BBC is Safe Church Organisation, all staff are required to comply with the applicable Child Safe legislation and ensure that the Church’s safe church policies and procedures are implemented at all times.
All employees must have a valid Working with Children Check and National Police clearance.
Active and committed to the Christian faith and be able to demonstrate spiritual maturity and integrity.
Have been baptised as a believer by full immersion, or willing to be.
Acknowledge and uphold BBC’s theological position as outlined in the Constitution & Statement of Faith.
Bachelor of Theology or similar equivalent tertiary theological qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in full time church ministry.
Demonstrated commitment to Bible-centred faith and ability to preach and teach the Word of God.
Experience in building relationships, evangelising and discipleship, recruiting and supporting leaders and teams
Exercise leadership with integrity, loyalty and honesty.

Youth Worker
The Role:
The Youth Worker will be responsible for promoting discipleship growth with intentional awareness of youth mission and maturity needs. This includes working with and supporting the various Team Leaders involved in Youth Ministry and working in collaboration with the various Leaders to facilitate outcomes consistent with BBC’s vision and mission.
This position will provide direction and oversight on all activities within for Youth (school years 7-12), including (but not limited to) collaborating with the leadership team, planning and facilitation of weekly youth and discipleship groups, planning and facilitation of regular youth events both inside and outside our organisation and providing support to youth team leaders.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in the wider life of the Church, including committed attendance to Sunday Gatherings and active involvement in church life events. They must also have the capacity to build positive and effective relationships with a broad range of people, pursuing the vision and mission of the church.

Exercise leadership with integrity, loyalty and honesty
Well-developed written, organisational and communication skills
